The Princeton Review says UIC makes the Green Cut
Posted by Giles Rafol at 3:46 PM
Good news, UIC community – UIC has been counted as one of 286 “green colleges” by The Princeton Review and the United States Green Building Council. The guide was recently released just in time for Earth Day 2010. Schools were chosen based off a 2009 “Green Rating” given to 697 schools. Colleges who scored in the 80th percentile and above, were chosen for this guide.
Some of the guide’s highlights of UIC include the Recycling Program, the UnPlug! Campaign, and Climate Action Plan.
